Fall 2026 Timeline
All students will register for Fall 2026 Courses online beginning in July. In order to prepare for registration, it is important for students to review the timeline listed below and review:
- Your Major's First Semester Registration Guide and Curriculum Template Information (Coming in Summer 2026)
- The HASS Core Overview and Planning Resources
- RPI's AP/Transfer Credit Policy - It is recommended you submit all of your AP/IB/Transfer Credit to RPI as soon as you are able to!
Academic Advising Consultation: June 25–July 8
This is a time when students review material provided by the HUB about their curriculum template and course selection. During this time it is important to familiarize yourself with how to use the Student Information System (SIS) and meet with your advisor to help guide you through registration.
You will receive correspondence from your advisor on June 11 with instructions on how to schedule an advising appointment for Fall registration.
Course Registration: July 10–July 17
Registration for Fall 2026 courses will be available beginning July 9th. You will be able to view the exact date/time that your registration will begin in SIS around a week before registration.
Registration opening dates:
Students registered with the Office of Access and Neurodiverse Student Success: July 10th
Early Decision 1 & 2 Students: July 10th
All other incoming freshmen: July 13th
Registration will close July 17th and reopen August TBD.

- Want to change your major before you begin at RPI? You can do so in your Admission's Portal! You have until the first day of Fall classes, however, it is HIGHLY recommended you change your major before registering for Fall courses.
