My research interests include Supply Chain Management, Transparency, Sustainability, and Organizational Resilience.
My current study is focusing on the effects of Confucian culture and capitalism on entrepreneurial spirit and corporate innovation.

My research is focused on how innovation may affect the firm performance. Specifically, how Research and Development (R&D) team within a firm may improve innovation from the value of patent perspective.

I am an engineer by training. RPI's Lally department faculty are leading experts in the field of Financial engineering. I seek to use my engineering experience synergistically in the financial domain.

The professors inspired me to choose RPI. I had a very positive experience during my MS degree. The professors cared about how well the students learned the material, and I wanted to be part of an engaging learning environment for my Ph.D. as well. Lally's focus on using ML and AI to solve business problems excited me, since I'd be able to learn research as well as machine learning. I thought the focus on industry-driven research would be a good fit for me, and all of these factors led me to choose RPI for my Ph.D

The wide range of areas that the Lally School covers is very useful for students like me who want a complete picture of the research problem. Connecting with other departments also allows me to discover new relationships between strategy, technology, and innovation. RPI's data science focus is very important because it allows for a much more meaningful way of doing research. The RPI brings together everything needed for the type of research I want to do.

RPI is well known for its significant contribution to Innovation and Technology, and if I wanted to learn the necessary skills to conduct high quality research in my chosen field, this was a great place to be.

My research interests lie in the areas of cybersecurity and corporate governance. Specifically, I am studying the relationship between data breaches and reactionary corporate governance behavior. My research aims to examine the role of peer data breaches in corporate governance to understand whether data breaches at peer firms induce non-breached firms to enhance corporate governance.

RPI is a spectacular research university, one that I’d heard of all the way from Alaska. When comparing RPI with other universities, I was impressed by the breadth and scope of the research here, and I was also eager to experience life outside of Alaska for the first time, as I’d never been out of my home state for more than a couple weeks at once before.

I was motivated to do my PhD at RPI because of the interdisciplinary research collaboration among different schools at RPI.

I was inspired by the brand name of the university. I had heard about the stellar backgrounds of the professors at the institute and my research interests aligned with the overall research direction of the school.

I chose RPI because first, there are professors who can work on my research interests. Second, this institute provides opportunities for students to explore courses from different departments. Lastly, the university atmosphere encourages students to study and conduct research.
