Why RPI?
The professors inspired me to choose RPI. I had a very positive experience during my MS degree. The professors cared about how well the students learned the material, and I wanted to be part of an engaging learning environment for my Ph.D. as well. Lally's focus on using ML and AI to solve business problems excited me, since I'd be able to learn research as well as machine learning. I thought the focus on industry-driven research would be a good fit for me, and all of these factors led me to choose RPI for my Ph.D
