Omar Alrubaiaan, Lally Ph.D. Candidate, Earns Doctorate with Research on AI and Entrepreneurial Strategy

The Lally School of Management congratulates Dr. Omar Alrubaiaan on successfully defending his dissertation titled “Three Essays on Entrepreneurial Strategy and Performance: Exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Driven Methods and Empirical Patterns.”

Dr. Alrubaiaan’s research advances the use of AI-driven methods, particularly Large Language Models, to analyze textual data and better understand pivot phenomena within the startup community. His work also contributes to the study of entrepreneurial strategy and performance through the application of rigorous econometric techniques.

Throughout his doctoral journey, Dr. Alrubaiaan presented his research at leading conferences in the field, demonstrating both scholarly excellence and dedication to impactful inquiry.

He is deeply grateful to his advisors, Dr. Murali Chari and Dr. Jason Kuruzovich, for their invaluable guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.
