Lally Celebrates Student Induction into Beta Gamma Sigma, Epsilon Delta Sigma, and Gamma Nu Eta Honor Societies

The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute celebrated the induction of its newest members into Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), Epsilon Delta Sigma (EDS), and Gamma Nu Eta (GNH) during the Spring 2026 Honor Societies Induction Ceremony on April 8.

The ceremony brought together students, faculty, staff, and guests to recognize outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community engagement across the Lally School.

In his opening remarks, Dean Liad Wagman emphasized that the ceremony represents more than academic distinction. “This ceremony is more than a recognition of academic excellence,” he shared. “It is a recognition of something harder to measure and far more important: the kind of person you are becoming.” He highlighted Lally’s unique position at the intersection of business and technology, reinforcing the responsibility students carry as future leaders operating across disciplines.

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)

Induction into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited institutions, places students among the top performers globally. Members are recognized for their academic excellence and commitment to the principles of honor, wisdom, and earnestness.
