AACSB Accreditation
The Lally School of Management is accredited by AACSB International, a distinction earned by fewer than six percent of business schools worldwide. This recognition reflects the school’s long-standing commitment to academic excellence, rigorous standards, and continuous improvement in business education.
For students, AACSB accreditation serves as a signal of quality and relevance. It affirms that Lally’s programs meet globally recognized benchmarks for teaching, curriculum design, and faculty expertise. The B.S. in Information Technology and Web Science (ITWS) and the M.S. in Information Technology are interdisciplinary RPI programs, accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), that is offered by the Lally School of Management. Other programs at Lally, which are more business-focused, are further accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Fewer than 6% of the world’s schools of management hold an AACSB accreditation.

STEM Designations
STEM refers to academic fields in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Programs with this designation meet federal criteria for quantitative and technical rigor.
