A team of Lally School students placed third in the 2022 Global Scaling Challenge. The team was comprised of Anirban Banerjee ’22, Patrick Harrison ’22, Matthew Zbikowski ’22, and Jacob Edwards ’25, and mentored by Associate Professor Murali Chari.
The challenge, organized and conducted by the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, asks students to provide solutions to real-world companies as they grow and scale. Twenty-five teams competed during the three-day competition, representing 20 universities and nine countries. The students were asked to analyze the operations of three firms operating in the space travel and exploration industry in New Mexico and propose a strategy to help the firms scale globally.
