About Epsilon Delta Sigma

EDS serves as the "altruistic arm" of the Lally School of Management, bridging faculty, students, and the community. After a brief hiatus during the pandemic, EDS was revitalized last year and continues to build on its traditions while creating new ones.

The society's scope is defined by its bylaws: "The Society seeks to become unique as an honorary society which will function as an advisory as well as functional member of the Lally School. It will serve as an altruistic arm of the Lally School within the community. Its scope and duties will be limited only by the imagination of its members."

Member Responsibilities

EDS members commit to:

  • Help realize the full potential of the Lally School of Management
  • Serve as the altruistic arm of the Lally School through sanctioned events and volunteer work
  • Act as a sounding board for student and faculty ideas
  • Attend monthly meetings (September through April)
  • Demonstrate continued leadership in club and community positions
  • Volunteer at Lally-sponsored events (twice per semester)
  • Serve as Professional Mentors after graduation

A Lifelong Commitment

One of the most distinctive aspects of EDS membership is its lifelong nature. As the induction ceremony states: "Once you are an active member of EDS, you are always an active member." Graduates continue their involvement as mentors to current Lally School students.
