Rensselaer Finance Club

Who We Are

The Rensselaer Finance Club is a student-run and Lally-funded organization. Founded in 2023, the club aims to support students with academic, professional, or extra-curricular interests in the finance industry. While the club covers any range of careers in the finance industry, RFC places special interest in placing students into top investment banks in the sales and trading, equity research, capital markets, and investment banking divisions. Club activities include guest speakers, alumni networking events, investing competitions, and other professional development opportunities. The RFC also leads a Student Managed Investment Fund, providing students with real experience managing a portion of the school's endowment.

Mission

Equip students with practical finance skills through guest speaker events, hands-on workshops, case studies, and networking opportunities. Connect students with industry professionals for mentorship, participate in competitions, and run projects to help members gain real-world experience in finance and enhance their technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Vision

Become a premier hub for finance talent, achieving a 100% placement rate into top-tier financial roles, and empowering members to thrive in a dynamic, global financial industry.
